What do I need to configure in SAP to get ExpressPO working?

ExpressPO is 'Transport Free' software. It uses standard sap functionality and will work instantly with your purchase order release strategies.

What do I need to install on my mobile phone to use ExpressPO?

Nothing, ExpressPO is 100% web based. Just browse to your installed site of ExpressPO from your phone.

What mobile phones do you support?

We have tested ExpressPO on the iPhone, Blackberry and Windows Mobile smart phones. If your company uses a different device please contact us and we will look at supporting your model.

What version of SAP does ExpressPO support?

ExpressPO is compatible with all SAP versions from 4.0B onwards.

How does ExpressPO communicate with SAP?

ExpressPO uses the SAP .Net Connector to communicate with SAP. The SAP .Net Connector was released by SAP to allow external programs to talk safely and securely to SAP R/3. You can read more about the SAP .Net Connector at SAP.

Does ExpressPO use SAP Workflow?

ExpressPO does not use SAP Workflow. It interogates standard SAP R/3 functionality.

Does ExpressPO support single sign on to SAP?

Yes. We support the SAP Logon Ticket or X.509 certificate.

Do I need training to install and configure ExpressPO?

Installation and configuration is a straight forward process and we provide all the relevant documentation. However, if you do have any questions please contact our support team who will be happy to assist.

Does ExpressPO bypass SAP roles and release strategies to approve Purchase Orders?

Without the appropriate authority in SAP you cannot approve Purchase Orders in ExpressPO.

Can ExpressPO monitor multiple SAP Release strategies?

Yes. You just need to configure your Purchase Order filter list.

Will I have to update ExpressPO if I upgrade SAP to a new release/ Version?
