ExpressServiceEntry is 'Transport Free' software. It uses standard SAP® functionality and will integrate instantly with your companies entry sheets and release strategies.
What do I need to install on my mobile phone to use ExpressServiceEntry?
Nothing, ExpressServiceEntry is 100% web based. Simple browse to ExpressServiceEntry from your phone to view the mobile version.
What mobile phones do you support?
We have tested ExpressServiceEntry on the iPhone, Blackberry and Windows Mobile smart phones. If your company uses a different device please contact us and we will look at supporting your model.
What version of SAP® does ExpressServiceEntry support?
ExpressRelease is compatible with all SAP® versions from 4.0B onwards.
How does ExpressServiceEntry communicate with SAP®?
ExpressRelease uses the SAP .Net Connector to communicate with SAP. The SAP .Net Connector was released by SAP to allow external programs to talk safely and securely to SAP R/3. You can read more about the SAP .Net Connector at SAP.
Does ExpressServiceEntry use SAP® Workflow?
ExpressServiceEntry does not use SAP® Workflow. It interogates standard SAP® R/3 functionality.
Does ExpressServiceEntry support single sign on to SAP®?
Yes. We support the SAP® Logon Ticket or X.509 certificate.
Do I need training to install and configure ExpressRelease?
Installation and configuration is a straight forward process and we provide all the relevant documentation. However, if you do have any questions please contact our support team who will be happy to assist.
Does ExpressServiceEntry bypass SAP® roles to release service entry sheets?
Without the appropriate authority in SAP® you cannot release service entry sheets.
Will I have to update ExpressServiceEntry if I upgrade SAP® to a new release/ Version?
ExpressServiceEntry is compatible with all SAP® versions from 4.0B onwards.
